I vote for Swahili. Learning one language for every will unite the minds. Everyone will still keep their other languages but the unity of mind will solidify the continent. Everything in life is about self-discovery. Not everyone will be successful abroad and the same in Nigeria. Like me travelling is for knowledge and exposure, I have learnt how to solve problems in my own space. I am a co-owner of a business in Nigeria and I thank God we took that decision. I decided to leave a paying job and start a business. We have zero funds from banks, it was tough but with a good relationship, we got started. I want to be a problem solver anywhere I am not just benefitting from the system. I have seen many people in the UK being under-utilized and these are people doing well in Nigeria. I believe we just need to know our life purpose more than a comfort zone. It's a personal decision sha. Imagine if Dangote, Otedola and many Nigerian entrepreneurs had left for the UK, US or Canada, they wouldn't have employed all those families today. Just chase your purpose anywhere in the world but home is home and no Oyinbo will build Nigeria for us.

You don't "have" a house after 3 years, rather after saving heavily for 3 years to make a deposit plus thousands of dollars you may enter the house and continue paying monthly mortgage for 30. You may have to pay taxes for your lifetime. You may have to pay hundreds of monthly HOA or maintenance fees. Then there are many house bills including high cost heating in cold countries and states. Its not easy and automatic.

I'm so glad to live in the United States where nobody gets to tell you what you can and cannot use on your own skin for your own personal choice. Why pick the less African language like swahili. swahili is 60% African & 40% is arabic portuguese german english.
